Caesalpinia pulcherrima, commonly known as the Yellow Bird of Paradise, is a tropical shrub prized for its bright yellow blooms with prominent red-orange stamens that resemble small birds in flight. This sun-loving ornamental brings a bold tropical look to warm-climate gardens and patio containers.
Ideal for borders, mass plantings, and showy accent specimens, it grows as a bushy shrub in frost-free areas and works well in large containers where winters are cool. The ferny green foliage and long summer bloom season make it a standout in any landscape.
