5 Seeds Bauhinia Variegata Purple Orchid Tree Decorative Flowering Plant

This offering includes 5 seeds of Bauhinia variegata, commonly known as the Purple Orchid Tree, a stunning deciduous ornamental prized for its showy, orchid-like purple blossoms that appear in late winter and early spring. Selected for its striking floral display and graceful, spreading form, this plant makes an eye-catching focal point in warm climate gardens, where it attracts attention with its unique, butterfly-shaped blooms and heart-shaped leaves.
The Purple Orchid Tree is suitable for use as an ornamental specimen, patio tree, or shade provider in frost-free landscapes, where it can also be trained for container growth when young. It exhibits a moderate growth rate and develops a wide canopy over time, making it ideal for larger gardens or open spaces. As a non-invasive planting choice in suitable zones, it provides seasonal interest and pairs well with other subtropical foliage plants.
