5 Seeds Albizia saman Rain Tree Tropical Shade Tree

Albizia saman, commonly known as the Rain Tree, is a large tropical flowering tree admired for its wide umbrella shaped canopy and feathery foliage. It creates a soft filtered shade and produces fluffy pink and white powder puff blooms that add texture and colour to warm climate landscapes.

This tree works well as a statement shade specimen in large gardens, parks, and open landscapes, and its nectar rich flowers draw pollinators. It prefers full sun and well drained soil, grows quickly in warm conditions, and develops a broad spreading habit that needs ample room. Seeds can be soaked before sowing to support even germination.
