5 Live Plants Oregon Grape Mahonia aquifolium Evergreen Shrub 6 Inch

Oregon Grape, also known as Mahonia aquifolium, is an evergreen shrub admired for its holly-like foliage, clusters of yellow spring blooms, and blue-black berries in late summer. Its year-round interest and compact habit make it a dependable choice for borders, hedges, and woodland-style plantings.
This shrub works well in mixed shrub borders, foundation plantings, and naturalized areas where its layered texture adds structure. The glossy, spiny leaflets shift through bronze and green tones across the seasons, while the bright flower clusters and subsequent berries bring multi-season appeal. It grows steadily once established and can be lightly shaped after flowering if desired.
