5 Live Plant Plugs Legacy Blueberry Vaccinium corymbosum

Legacy Blueberry is a northern highbush variety valued for its firm, sweet fruit and reliable yields in home gardens and small orchards. The plants arrive as established starter plugs with healthy roots, ready to settle quickly into prepared beds or containers and begin growing on. A handsome addition to the edible landscape, it offers spring blossoms, summer fruit, and dependable autumn foliage color.

Grow Legacy Blueberry in full sun for the best flowering and fruit set, in moist, well-drained, acidic soil rich in organic matter. Space plants so air moves freely around the shrubs, keep the root zone evenly moist through the growing season, and mulch to conserve moisture and moderate soil temperature. Berries ripen in mid to late season and are excellent for fresh eating, baking, jams, and freezing. A second compatible variety nearby supports cross-pollination and heavier crops. Plants are long-lived and reward a little annual pruning with steady production.
