5 Live Plant Plugs Heintooga Blueberry Vaccinium corymbosum

Heintooga Blueberry is a rabbiteye-type blueberry selection valued for its sweet, mild berries and reliable performance in warm, humid climates. It forms an upright, vigorous shrub that fits well in edible landscapes, pollinator gardens, and home orchards. Berries ripen in mid to late season and are suited to fresh eating, baking, and preserving. This listing is for starter plugs ready to establish in the garden.

Plant in full sun for the best fruiting and plant in groups of two or more varieties for cross-pollination and heavier yields. Heintooga works well as a landscape shrub, hedgerow, or container specimen in mild climates and pairs nicely with other rabbiteye blueberries. Provide consistent moisture and mulch to keep shallow roots cool. Berries can be harvested as they turn fully blue and sweet, then eaten fresh, frozen, or cooked into jams and pies.
