5 Live Plant Galaxy Blackberry Rubus Starter Plug

Galaxy Blackberry is a distinctive fruiting plant known for its striking speckled purple-black berries and vigorous, trailing growth habit. This Rubus selection offers an ornamental and productive addition to home gardens, producing flavorful fruit on canes that can be trained along trellises or left to sprawl. Ideal for growers seeking a unique berry variety with visual appeal and reliable yields in suitable climates.

The berries are well suited for fresh eating, jams, jellies, and baked desserts, offering a sweet-tart flavor when fully ripe. Plants perform best in full sun with well-drained, slightly acidic soil and benefit from consistent moisture during establishment. Canes are biennial, fruiting on second-year wood, so pruning spent canes after harvest encourages new growth. Space plants to allow good airflow, and provide support for the trailing habit.
