5 Latham Red Raspberry Starter Plugs Rubus idaeus Live Plant

Latham Red Raspberry is a hardy summer-bearing variety known for its reliable crops of bright red, sweet-tart berries. These starter plugs arrive as young, well-rooted plants ready to establish in the garden, making them a practical choice for home growers who want a dependable fruiting raspberry without starting from bare root. The plants are vigorous and adapt well to a range of temperate climates.
The berries are excellent for fresh eating, freezing, jams, and baking, and the plants also work well as a fruiting hedge or border where their seasonal foliage and fruit add interest. Latham produces on floricanes in midsummer, with canes that benefit from annual pruning after harvest. Space plants to allow good air movement and provide support such as a trellis for the canes as they grow.
