5 Jack-in-the-pulpit Seeds Arisaema triphyllum Wildflower Woodland Shade Garden

Jack-in-the-pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum) is a native woodland perennial known for its distinctive hooded spathe and spadix, which form a curious pitcher-like bloom in spring. This shade-loving wildflower adds unique texture and woodland charm to naturalized areas, native plant gardens, and damp borders.

The unusual flower structure appears in spring above bold, divided foliage that persists through the growing season, followed by a striking cluster of red berries in late summer where pollination occurs. It works well in woodland gardens, rain gardens, and shaded naturalized plantings, pairing nicely with ferns and other shade perennials.
