5 Ipomoea leptophylla Seeds Bush Morning Glory Perennial

Native to the Great Plains, this bush morning glory forms a mounded, shrub-like perennial with striking, trumpet-shaped pink to purple blooms that open in the morning and close by afternoon. Its silver-green, narrow leaves add fine texture to sunny garden beds or rock gardens, while the plant’s drought tolerance makes it a resilient choice for xeric landscapes and wildflower plantings.
Use this perennial as an ornamental specimen or in mixed borders, where its low, spreading habit creates a soft, airy presence from summer to early fall. It thrives in well-drained, sandy or rocky soils and appreciates full sun; once established, it requires minimal supplemental water, making it ideal for low-maintenance gardens, prairies, or roadside plantings.
