5 Goldenrod Solidago Bare Root Perennial Wildflower Live Plants

Goldenrod is a hardy native perennial wildflower grown from bare root crowns, prized for its tall, arching stems topped with dense clusters of bright golden-yellow blooms in late summer and autumn. It is a dependable, low-maintenance choice for meadow gardens, borders, pollinator plantings, and naturalized landscapes, returning year after year with minimal care.

Goldenrod works beautifully in wildflower meadows, cottage gardens, and mixed perennial borders, where its vivid color pairs well with asters, coneflowers, and ornamental grasses. The flowers are long-lasting when cut for arrangements, and its upright clumping habit provides reliable late-season structure. Plant in full sun to light shade in well-drained soil, and divide clumps every few years to keep growth vigorous.
