5 Blackhaw Shrub 12" Viburnum prunifolium Bare Root Plants

Blackhaw is a native deciduous shrub or small tree valued for its rounded habit, creamy white spring flower clusters, and blue-black fruit that follows in late summer. Its glossy dark green leaves turn attractive red and purple tones in autumn, making it a versatile choice for naturalized areas, hedgerows, and mixed borders.

Blackhaw works well as a specimen shrub, in wildlife-friendly plantings, or as a backdrop in perennial beds. It adapts to a range of conditions and develops a dense, multi-stemmed form over time. The fruit can be used in jams and preserves once fully ripe, while the plant's structure and seasonal color provide year-round garden interest.
