4000 Seeds Catnip Nepeta cataria Perennial Herb Garden

Catnip is a hardy perennial herb in the mint family, grown for its aromatic gray-green foliage and spikes of small white to pale purple flowers. It is a traditional garden herb prized for its easy-going nature, vigorous growth, and ability to attract pollinators to the landscape.

Catnip works well in herb gardens, perennial borders, cottage gardens, and meadow plantings, where its soft texture and long bloom period add interest through summer. The leaves can be harvested and dried for teas and culinary blends, and the plant naturalizes readily in suitable conditions. It tolerates a range of soils once established and returns each year from a winter-dormant crown.
