30 Seeds Swamp Rose Mallow Hibiscus moscheutos Hardy Perennial

Swamp Rose Mallow, Hibiscus moscheutos, is a hardy herbaceous perennial known for its oversized blooms in shades of white and pink with contrasting crimson centers. Its bold, tropical-looking flowers open across a compact, shrubby clump of green foliage, adding a dramatic accent to borders, rain gardens, and pollinator-friendly landscapes through the warm months.

This versatile native perennial works well as a specimen plant, in mixed perennial beds, and near water features or low spots where its love of moisture can be appreciated. The large blooms attract bees and butterflies, while the sturdy stems hold up well in the garden and in cut arrangements. Plants are slow to emerge in spring and then grow quickly once temperatures warm, flowering from mid to late summer.
