30 Seeds Blue Leaf Mimosa Acacia baileyana purpurea

Blue Leaf Mimosa is a graceful evergreen shrub or small tree admired for its finely cut, silvery-blue foliage and showy clusters of fragrant golden-yellow puffball flowers. Acacia baileyana purpurea adds extra seasonal interest with its distinctive purplish tint on new growth, making it a striking ornamental for mild-climate landscapes and large containers. Its feathery texture and soft color contrast beautifully with broader-leaved plants, and the blooms bring early-season color and light fragrance to the garden.
This versatile acacia works well as a specimen tree, an informal hedge, or a backdrop in mixed borders, and its foliage is attractive in cut arrangements. It grows at a moderate to fast rate and responds well to light shaping after flowering. In cooler zones it can be grown in a container and moved indoors during cold snaps.
