30 Persicaria Punctata Smartweed Seeds Heirloom Wildflower Garden Planting

Persicaria punctata, commonly known as dotted smartweed, is a native North American wildflower valued for its slender stems, lance-shaped green leaves, and delicate spikes of small white to pale pink blossoms. Blooming from midsummer into early autumn, it brings a natural, meadow-like texture to damp gardens and wildlife-friendly landscapes. Seeds offer an economical way to establish this attractive herbaceous species from scratch.
This versatile plant suits bog gardens, rain gardens, pond margins, and other consistently moist areas of the landscape. Its understated flowers attract pollinators, and the foliage provides cover for beneficial insects and small wildlife. Grow it in open, wet ground or along water features where its spreading habit can naturalize over time.
