3 Roots Karl Rosenfield Peony Paeonia lactiflora Live Roots

Karl Rosenfield Peony is a classic herbaceous perennial prized for its large, double crimson blooms and vigorous, upright growth. Each spring, sturdy stems rise with deep green foliage, topped by abundant, rose-like flowers that make a striking display in beds, borders, and cutting gardens. This long-lived peony returns reliably year after year, growing fuller and more floriferous with each passing season.

The richly colored blooms open in late spring to early summer and hold well when cut for arrangements, while the neat clump of foliage remains attractive through the growing season, shifting to warm tones in autumn. Plant the roots in a sunny spot with well-drained soil for best flowering, and allow the foliage to remain until it yellows to support strong return bloom. An enduring garden favorite for perennial borders and mass plantings.
