3 Live Plants Red Chokeberry Aronia arbutifolia Starter Plant Native Shrub

Red Chokeberry (Aronia arbutifolia) is a deciduous native North American shrub valued for its glossy green foliage, white spring blossoms, and brilliant red fall color. It produces clusters of small red berries that persist into winter, offering seasonal interest across the landscape. This starter plant is shipped bare root and is well suited for native plant gardens, rain gardens, and naturalized borders. Reaching a manageable size, it adapts readily to a range of garden settings and works well in mass plantings where its multi-season appeal can be appreciated. Its berries are commonly used in jams, jellies, and syrups, while the shrub itself supports birds and pollinators in the garden.
