3 Live Plants American Plum Tree 12 Inch Tall Starter Prunus americana

American Plum is a hardy native deciduous tree grown for its early spring white blossoms, edible small plums, and attractive fall foliage. It offers multi-season interest in yards, meadows, and wildlife plantings, and the compact starter size makes it easy to establish in a home landscape. It can be grown as a single-trunk tree or allowed to form a thicket over time.

The fruit is small, round, and reddish to yellow when ripe, often used for jams, jellies, preserves, and fresh eating once fully mature. The spring flowers support pollinators, while the dense branching provides cover and nesting structure. This species is adaptable to a range of soils and is a useful choice for hedgerows, edible landscapes, and native plant gardens. Plant in full sun for best flowering and fruiting, and water regularly during establishment.
