3 Live Plants Althea Hibiscus syriacus Rose of Sharon 12 Inch Tall Bare Root

Althea, also known as Rose of Sharon or Hibiscus syriacus, is a deciduous flowering shrub prized for its long summer bloom season and abundant cup-shaped flowers. This listing offers three bare root plants approximately 12 inches tall, ready to establish in the garden and grow into vigorous, upright shrubs. Rose of Sharon is a classic choice for mixed borders, hedges, and foundation plantings, valued for its late-season color when many other shrubs have finished blooming.

The pink blooms appear from midsummer into early autumn and are attractive to pollinators, making this shrub a lively addition to ornamental beds and wildlife-friendly landscapes. It works well as a specimen plant, in grouped plantings, or as a flowering hedge, and its upright habit suits both cottage and formal garden designs. Bare root plants should be planted promptly upon arrival and kept consistently moist while establishing.
