3 Live Plant Plugs Yellow Turmeric Curcuma longa

Yellow turmeric, also known as Curcuma longa, is a tropical perennial prized for its vibrant yellow rhizomes and lush, tropical foliage. Each starter plug arrives actively growing and ready to establish, making it an easy and rewarding choice for gardeners who want to grow their own turmeric at home.

Grown for both its ornamental beauty and culinary rhizomes, yellow turmeric thrives in warm, humid conditions and produces bold, canna-like leaves that add a striking tropical accent to containers, borders, and indoor plant collections. The rhizomes can be harvested at the end of the growing season and used fresh in cooking, while the foliage provides season-long visual interest.
