3 Black Willow Trees 12" Salix nigra Live Bare Root Plants

Black Willow (Salix nigra) is a fast-growing deciduous tree native to North America, prized for its graceful weeping form and slender, bright green leaves. It thrives in moist to wet conditions, making it an excellent choice for rain gardens, stream banks, and naturalized areas where its rapid growth quickly provides structure and shade.

Its flexible branches and fine-textured foliage offer year-round ornamental interest, while its tolerance for wet soils makes it a practical choice for erosion-prone or low-lying landscape sites. Plant in full sun for best growth and allow ample space for its broad, rounded canopy to develop.
