3 Bare Root Sweetbay Magnolia Trees 12 Inch Live Plants Magnolia virginiana

3 Sweetbay Magnolia Trees arrive as bare root plants approximately 12 inches in height, ready to establish in the landscape. This native North American magnolia is valued for its glossy green foliage with silvery undersides and its creamy white, lemon-scented blooms that appear in late spring and continue sporadically through summer. Its upright, multi-stemmed habit and semi-evergreen to evergreen foliage in warmer zones make it a handsome focal point or naturalized accent.
Sweetbay Magnolia works well as a specimen tree, in mixed borders, near patios where its fragrance can be enjoyed, or in rain gardens and moist areas. It tolerates wet soils better than many ornamental trees and attracts pollinators during its bloom period. Plant in a location with consistent moisture for best performance.
