25 Silky Locoweed Seeds Astragalus sericoleucus Native Wildflower

Silky Locoweed is a low-growing native wildflower known for its silvery, silky foliage and small clusters of pale blooms that add soft texture to sunny landscapes. It is an excellent choice for native plant gardens, rock gardens, and low-water ornamental plantings where a compact, mat-forming habit is desired.

This perennial wildflower works well in xeriscapes, pollinator-friendly landscapes, and naturalized areas, where its dense silver-grey leaves create a striking ground-cover effect. It grows slowly and steadily, forming neat clumps that require minimal maintenance once established. Its subtle flowers and distinctive foliage make it a valuable addition to drought-tolerant borders and native restoration plantings.
