25 Seeds Prairie Spiderwort Tradescantia bracteata Native Perennial Wildflower

Prairie Spiderwort is a low-growing native perennial known for its clusters of three-petaled violet-blue flowers that open in the morning sun. Its grassy, upright foliage forms tidy clumps that bring texture and color to prairies, meadow plantings, and pollinator gardens.

This adaptable species works well in native plant gardens, cottage borders, and naturalized areas, where its long bloom period provides seasonal interest from late spring into summer. Plants are easy to grow from seed and tolerate a range of conditions once established, making them a practical choice for informal landscapes and low-maintenance plantings.
