25 Seeds Nicotiana sylvestris White Woodland Flowering Tobacco Ornamental

Nicotiana sylvestris, commonly called white woodland tobacco, is a vigorous tender perennial grown as an annual in most climates, prized for its tall architectural habit and graceful clusters of long, tubular white flowers that release a sweet evening fragrance. Plants form large basal rosettes of soft, broad green leaves before sending up tall stems topped with cascading blooms from midsummer into autumn.

In the garden, white woodland tobacco is a standout for borders, cottage plantings, and night gardens where its luminous white flowers catch the evening light and its scent draws moths and other pollinators. Its bold foliage and height make it a useful backdrop for lower-growing companion plants, and the flowers work well in mixed arrangements. Plants thrive in rich, moist soil, tolerate partial shade, and often self-seed once established.
