20 Seeds Mullein Verbascum thapsus Common Mullein

Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) is a hardy biennial grown for its tall, upright flower spikes and soft, felted grey-green foliage. It forms a generous rosette in its first year, then sends up a striking single stalk in the second, producing a dense column of small yellow blooms.
A classic choice for wildflower meadows, cottage gardens, and naturalized areas, mullein adds strong vertical structure and attracts bees and other pollinators. The large basal leaves and towering flower spikes have long been appreciated in traditional and ornamental plantings, and the plant readily self-seeds once established in suitable open sites.
