20 Seeds Mexican Mint Tagetes lucida Aromatic Herb Fragrant Garden Plant

Mexican Mint (Tagetes lucida) is a fragrant herbaceous perennial often grown for its sweet, tarragon-like aroma and bright golden-yellow blooms. Its slender green leaves and late-season flowers make it an attractive addition to herb borders, pollinator gardens, and container plantings, offering visual interest and a pleasant scent throughout the growing season.

The leaves can be used fresh or dried as a culinary herb, lending a mild anise-tarragon flavor to teas, salads, and savory dishes. Plants grow in a bushy, upright habit and bloom from midsummer into fall, attracting bees and butterflies. They perform well in mixed beds, herb gardens, and patio pots, and the flowers can be cut for fresh arrangements or dried for decorative use.
