100 Seeds White Avens Geum canadense Perennial Wildflower Shade Garden

White Avens (Geum canadense) is a native perennial wildflower valued for its airy white blooms and attractive clumping foliage. It brings a soft, natural look to woodland gardens, shaded borders, and pollinator-friendly landscapes. Its delicate flowers rise on slender stems above green foliage, adding texture and light to dim areas where color is often scarce.
This versatile plant works well in native plantings, naturalized areas, and wildlife gardens, where its blooms support pollinators and its seed heads offer seasonal interest. It performs reliably in moist, well-drained soils and tolerates partial to full shade, making it a useful choice for challenging spots under trees or along shaded pathways.
