100 Seeds Red Columbine Aquilegia canadensis Native Wildflower

Red Columbine (Aquilegia canadensis) is a native North American wildflower prized for its nodding red and yellow spurred blooms that attract hummingbirds and bees in spring. Its airy, delicate foliage and graceful habit make it a lovely addition to woodland gardens, native plantings, and naturalized meadows.
This columbine works beautifully in shade and woodland borders, cottage gardens, pollinator patches, and cut flower arrangements. Plants form clumps of blue-green foliage and bloom in the second year when grown from seed, often self-sowing to create natural drifts. Allow spent flowers to mature if you want volunteers, or deadhead to prolong bloom.
