100 Seeds Midland Shooting Star Dodecatheon meadia Native Wildflower

Midland Shooting Star (Dodecatheon meadia) is a charming native North American wildflower admired for its distinctive swept-back petals that form a shooting-star silhouette atop upright stems. Blooming in spring, its nodding flowers in shades of white, pink, and lavender create a graceful, woodland-garden look that appeals to native plant enthusiasts and pollinator gardeners alike.
This species works beautifully in shade gardens, woodland plantings, pollinator patches, and naturalized meadow areas, where its early-season blooms support bees and other beneficial insects. It pairs well with ferns, woodland phlox, and other shade-loving perennials.
