100 Seeds Johnny Jump Up Viola tricolor Heirloom Flower

Johnny Jump Up (Viola tricolor) is a charming, low-growing heirloom flower that produces cheerful little blooms in purple, yellow, and violet-blue with a characteristic whiskered face. Blooming generously from early spring through summer, it naturalizes readily and brings a cottage-garden feel to borders, containers, and rock gardens.

These versatile blooms work beautifully in beds, edging, hanging baskets, and wildflower-style plantings, and the delicate flowers can also be used as an edible garnish for salads and desserts. The plants prefer cool conditions, often pausing in the heat of midsummer and returning with vigor as temperatures drop, making them an excellent choice for spring and fall color.
