100 Seeds Basket of Gold Alyssum saxatile

Basket of Gold is a low-growing perennial prized for its dense clusters of bright golden-yellow flowers that blanket the foliage in early spring. Its cheerful blooms and compact habit make it a classic choice for rock gardens, borders, and edging, where it creates a vivid carpet of color.

Alyssum saxatile is primarily grown as an ornamental for its early-season display and tidy mat-forming growth. It performs well in sunny areas with well-drained soil and is often used in rock gardens, along walls, and as a ground cover on slopes. Plants are drought tolerant once established and benefit from light shearing after bloom to maintain a compact form.
