100 New York Ironweed Seeds Vernonia noveboracensis Native Wildflower Pollinator Garden

Vernonia noveboracensis is a robust native perennial wildflower prized for its tall, upright habit and vivid deep purple blooms that appear in late summer into early autumn. Also known as New York ironweed, it brings bold vertical interest and long-lasting color to meadows, cottage gardens, and naturalized landscapes.

The dense, fluffy flower clusters rise above lance-shaped green foliage and are highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinating insects. Ironweed pairs well with other tall perennials and native grasses in rain gardens, borders, and wildflower plantings. Its sturdy stems make it a fine choice for cutting gardens, and the seed heads persist into winter for seasonal interest.
