10 Starter Plug Natchez Thornless Blackberry Rubus Fruit Plant

Natchez Thornless Blackberry is a caneberry known for its trailing, thornless canes and reliable production of large, sweet-tasting fruit. A favorite among home growers, this variety brings both ornamental value and practical harvest to the garden, with white blooms in spring followed by glossy dark berries in summer. Its smooth, spine-free stems make pruning and picking far more pleasant than with typical brambles.

Grown as a starter plug, this blackberry establishes readily when given warmth, moisture, and bright light. The canes can be trained along a trellis or fence for easy management and air circulation. Use the fruit fresh, in jams, pies, smoothies, and desserts, or freeze for later. Plants are perennial and return year after year, increasing in yield as the crown matures.
