10 Starter Plug Darrowii Blueberry Plant Vaccinium darrowii Native

Vaccinium darrowii, commonly known as Darrow's blueberry, is a low-growing native shrub prized for its compact habit, small glossy leaves, and sweet blue berries. This southern species naturally occurs in sandy pine flatwoods and scrub, making it an excellent choice for warm-climate gardens and wildlife-friendly landscapes.

Darrow's blueberry works well in edible landscapes, native plant gardens, and container culture. It produces small, flavorful berries in spring to early summer and offers attractive foliage that shifts color through the seasons. Its low, spreading form makes it a useful groundcover or border plant in suitable climates.
