10 Seeds Rudbeckia hirta Gloriosa Daisy Perennial Flower

Rudbeckia hirta, commonly known as black-eyed Susan, is a cheerful wildflower prized for its bright golden-yellow petals surrounding a dark central cone. The Gloriosa Daisy strain is a popular selection that produces large, showy blooms on sturdy stems, making it a standout in any sunny border or meadow planting. Its long blooming period and easygoing nature have made it a favorite among gardeners seeking reliable color with minimal fuss.

These daisies work beautifully in cottage gardens, wildflower meadows, and pollinator-friendly landscapes. The blooms are excellent for cutting, lasting well in arrangements, and they dry nicely for dried flower crafts. Plants typically form clumps that naturalize over time when conditions suit them, returning each season in perennial zones. They pair well with ornamental grasses and other summer bloomers for a relaxed, naturalistic look.
