10 Seeds Rhododendron mucronulatum Korean Azalea Shrub

This offering includes 10 seeds of Rhododendron mucronulatum, also known as the Korean rhododendron or Korean azalea. A deciduous, early-blooming shrub prized for its vibrant pink-purple flowers that emerge before the foliage in early spring, adding a striking pop of color to garden borders, woodland edges, or foundation plantings. This hardy, ornamental species develops an upright, branching habit with attractive green leaves that turn warm shades of yellow and orange in autumn.
This versatile shrub is an excellent choice for specimen planting, mixed shrub borders, or naturalized areas where its seasonal interest can be enjoyed. Its early blooms provide a valuable nectar source for early pollinators, while its manageable size and cold tolerance make it suitable for temperate gardens. Plant it in a sheltered location with consistent moisture for best flowering, and note that it will establish and grow over several years into a mature, multi-stemmed ornamental.
