10 Seeds Photinia serratifolia Chinese Photinia Evergreen Hedge Shrub

This offering includes 10 seeds of Photinia serratifolia, commonly known as Chinese Photinia. This vigorous evergreen shrub is prized for its glossy, leathery foliage that emerges with a striking bronze-red tint before maturing to a deep, rich green, providing year-round visual interest in the landscape. Its upright, dense growth habit makes it a popular choice for creating formal or informal hedges, privacy screens, or as an accent shrub in mixed borders.
As an ornamental, Chinese Photinia excels as a fast-growing hedge or standalone specimen, thriving in full sun to partial shade and adapting well to a range of well-drained soils. Its robust nature allows it to be pruned easily to shape, promoting lush, dense branching. For best results, sow seeds in a quality seed-starting mix, keep them consistently moist, and provide bright, indirect light until germination. This plant is suitable for gardeners seeking a reliable, low-maintenance evergreen structure.
