10 Seeds Monarda citriodora Lemon Bee Balm Perennial Herb

Monarda citriodora, commonly known as Lemon Bee Balm or Lemon Mint, is a hardy perennial herb prized for its fragrant, citrus-scented foliage and distinctive whorls of pale purple tubular blooms. This native North American wildflower adds a lively, airy texture to meadow plantings, pollinator gardens, and mixed herb borders, returning year after year in suitable climates.

The leaves carry a bright lemony aroma often used to flavor teas, salads, and cold drinks, while the striking stacked flower clusters make an excellent fresh or dried cut flower. Blooming through summer into early autumn, it draws bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Plant in a sunny spot with well-drained soil for best results.
