10 Seeds Miscanthus Giganteus Giant Silver Grass Ornamental

Miscanthus floridulus Giganteus, commonly known as Giant Silver Grass, is a striking ornamental grass prized for its impressive height and graceful, arching foliage. This vigorous perennial forms a large, dense clump of slender green leaves that sway beautifully in the breeze, creating a stunning vertical accent for sunny borders, privacy screens, or as a dramatic backdrop in landscape plantings. In late summer, tall plumes of silvery-white flower spikes rise above the foliage, adding texture and movement that persists into winter for year-round interest.
This grass is ideal for adding structure and scale to garden beds, meadows, or naturalized areas, where its robust growth and drought tolerance once established make it a low-maintenance choice. Use it to create a living screen, soften fences, or anchor a mixed border with contrasting perennials and shrubs. Its architectural form also works well in large containers or as a striking focal point in open spaces.
