10 Seeds Golden Dawn Redwood Metasequoia Gold Rush Deciduous Conifer Tree

Golden Dawn Redwood is a deciduous conifer prized for its soft, feathery foliage that emerges bright golden-yellow in spring and deepens to a luminous chartreuse through summer before turning a rich coppery bronze in autumn. This striking Metasequoia cultivar brings a warm, glowing accent to gardens and landscapes, growing into a graceful, conical tree with a strong upright habit that stands out beautifully against darker evergreens.

Ideal as a specimen tree, in mixed borders, or along water features where its reflected color adds depth, Golden Dawn Redwood also works well in larger container plantings when young. Its fine texture contrasts nicely with broadleaf shrubs, and the feathery needles make an excellent backdrop for flowering perennials. The tree is generally low-maintenance once established and rewards gardeners with multi-season color interest.
