10 Seeds Cercis gigantea Giant Redbud Flowering Tree

Cercis gigantea, commonly known as the Giant Redbud, is a deciduous flowering tree admired for its larger-than-average heart-shaped leaves and abundant early-season blooms. This species offers the same graceful, multi-stemmed habit and vibrant floral display that makes redbuds a favorite in home landscapes, with a slightly more substantial presence in the garden.
In the landscape, the Giant Redbud works well as a specimen tree, in mixed borders, or as an understory planting where its spring color can be appreciated. The nectar-rich blossoms attract pollinators, and the broad foliage provides appealing texture through the growing season. Its moderate growth rate and adaptable nature make it a rewarding choice for gardeners seeking a distinctive ornamental tree.
