10 Seeds Catnip Nepeta cataria Fragrant Herb Plant

Catnip (Nepeta cataria) is a hardy perennial herb in the mint family, prized for its soft, grey-green foliage and the sweet, minty aroma it releases when brushed or crushed. Its upright, bushy habit makes it an easy-going garden plant that fills borders, herb beds, and containers with dependable seasonal interest.
Catnip works well in mixed herb plantings, cottage gardens, and pollinator-friendly borders where its late-season flower spikes add vertical texture. The fragrant leaves can be harvested fresh or dried for teas and culinary infusions, while the plant itself is a low-maintenance grower that returns each year in suitable climates.
