10 Plant Plugs Alachua Muscadine Grape Vitis rotundifolia Starter Plants

Alachua Muscadine Grape is a vigorous, heat-loving native grape selection well suited to warm, humid climates and known for producing large, sweet, bronze-purple fruit with a rich muscadine flavor. These starter plugs arrive actively growing and ready to establish in the garden, making them an excellent choice for home growers seeking a dependable fruiting vine for arbors, trellises, and fences.

The vines are prized both for their edible fruit and their ornamental value, with lush green foliage that provides seasonal shade and structure. Muscadine grapes are commonly used fresh, in jams, jellies, juices, and wines. Plants are vigorous climbers that perform best with sturdy support and consistent moisture during establishment.
