10 Lady Fern Roots Athyrium Filix-Femina Bare Root Fern

Lady Fern is a graceful perennial fern admired for its finely cut, lacy fronds that unfurl in soft green tones and form a lush, arching clump over time. It brings a delicate woodland texture to shade gardens, borders, and damp planting areas, and works equally well in containers or naturalized settings where its airy structure can be appreciated up close. This listing offers bare root divisions ready to be established in the garden.
Lady Fern performs best in consistently moist, well-drained soil rich in organic matter, and its tolerance for shade makes it a useful choice for woodland plantings, stream banks, and shaded foundation beds. The finely divided fronds provide a soft backdrop for flowering perennials and pair well with hostas, astilbes, and other moisture-loving companions. Keep the soil evenly moist during establishment and mulch lightly to retain moisture.
