1 Seeds True Comfrey Symphytum officinale Hardy Perennial Herb

True Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) is a hardy perennial herb prized for its large, fuzzy green leaves and clusters of bell-shaped flowers that shift from pink to blue-purple. It forms a robust, clump-forming plant that returns year after year, making it a long-lived and dependable choice for borders, meadow-style plantings, and mixed herb gardens.

This comfrey is most often grown as an ornamental and garden plant, valued for its vigorous spring growth, attractive foliage, and nectar-rich blooms that draw bees and other pollinators.
