1 Live Plant Tri Color Camellia Japonica Starter Plant 4L

Camellia japonica 'Tri Color' is a classic evergreen shrub prized for its formal double blooms patterned in white, pink, and red on the same plant. This starter plant arrives established and ready to grow on, making it a rewarding choice for gardeners who want a flowering shrub with year-round glossy foliage and vivid cool-season color. Its compact, upright habit suits containers, patios, mixed borders, and woodland plantings. Blooms typically open in late winter to early spring, brightening the garden when few other plants are flowering.
Grow Tri Color Camellia japonica as an ornamental specimen, evergreen hedge, privacy screen, or container feature. The dense, dark green foliage provides structure all year, while the variegated blooms add interest in the cool season. It performs best in partial shade with shelter from harsh afternoon sun and drying winds, in rich, moist, well-drained acidic soil. Water regularly while establishing, then keep soil evenly moist. A layer of mulch helps retain moisture and moderate soil temperature. Light pruning after flowering maintains shape and encourages bushy growth.
