1 Live Plant Quaking Aspen Tree 24 Inch Tall 2 Year Old Populus tremuloides

Quaking Aspen is a cold-hardy deciduous tree admired for its smooth white bark and fluttering green leaves that shimmer in the breeze. This 2-year-old live plant stands about 24 inches tall, offering a head start for those looking to establish a graceful tree with striking fall color. Its distinctive rounded foliage turns a brilliant golden yellow in autumn, bringing seasonal interest to yards, borders, and naturalized areas. Reaching a mature height of 30 to 50 feet, Quaking Aspen is a long-lived selection that performs best in cooler climates and well-drained soils. It can be planted as a specimen tree or grouped for a grove-like effect.
Quaking Aspen is primarily grown for ornamental value, where its pale bark and quivering leaves provide year-round visual appeal. The tree works well in landscape plantings, native gardens, and wildlife-friendly spaces, offering cover and habitat. Its growth habit is upright and spreading, with a tendency to sucker and form clonal colonies over time, so allow adequate room. Plant in full sun for best development and water regularly during establishment. This selection is shipped as a live plant and should be set out soon after arrival.
