1 Live Plant Pink Weigela Shrub Weigela florida Bare Root Starter

Weigela florida is a deciduous shrub prized for its pink funnel-shaped blooms that appear in late spring and often rebloom through summer. This bare root starter establishes quickly and grows into a dense, arching shrub with green foliage that adds season-long structure to mixed borders and foundation plantings.

Use weigela as a flowering hedge, a standalone accent, or a background planting in perennial beds. Its tubular blooms draw hummingbirds and bees, while the layered branches provide cover for small birds. Grow in full sun for the heaviest flowering, water regularly during establishment, and prune lightly after the first bloom flush to encourage repeat flowering and a tidy shape.
